Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Daytona Beach, FL
Pay Rate: 70K - 90K + (DOE)
Hours: Full-Time

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA strongly preferred
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Senior Staff Accountant will support financial reporting, audit activities, and operational analysis while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role offers excellent growth potential and exposure to senior leadership within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Assist with annual audits, including preparation of schedules and auditor requests
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions
• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial reports for leadership
• Assist with bank reconciliations and inventory accounting
• Collaborate with internal departments to achieve organizational financial objectives
