Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: 08/17/2026 | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (end times may vary based on procedures) | Call required: 6–8 days per month

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room including the sterile field, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions prior to procedures
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgical procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment throughout the duration of each case
• Simultaneously manage the sterile field and surgical specimens
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or equivalent programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Local candidates will not be considered for this travel position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties within an OR setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facility protocols and surgical teams
