Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Location: Syracuse, NY - Onsite
Education: BS / MS in Electrical / Electronics with 8 years experience
Responsibilities:
Work with equipment / software / electronic hardware / validation/reliability and manufacturing fields
Design and implement electrical/mechanical systems for container refrigeration
Create, refine and clarify with internal and external customers
Experience in new product design of components and assemblies for manufacturing
Power electronics knowledge, inverter / converter / VFD
Knowledge of SiC FET / GAAN FET
Experience with power distribution and conversion of circuitry and wiring, experience with battery system / transformers / inverters / contactors
High voltage / wattage test and integration
VFD integration, filters and VFD trouble shoot and debug
Proficient in electromechanical design
Experience in electrical schematics and basic electrical analyses, power consumption and with wiring / connectors / harness
Preferred:
Experience in power supplies / batteries / power converters
Controller I/O understanding/experience
With HVAC systems
Experience in new product design and qualification
Proficient in modern experimental methods
