Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Rochester has an immediate opening for an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom. The successful candidate should be creative, able to engage children with fun, hands-on activities that foster both their cognitive and social-emotional growth. Strong communication skills are essential, and a passion for continuous learning and growth in the field of early childhood education is key.
In collaboration with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher in the preschool classroom has responsibility for the care, supervision, and management of a classroom in accordance with set goals and curriculum plans utilizing High Scope.

Position Detail:
- Status: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
- Pay range: $14.50-$20.50/hour (rate based on years of experience in early childhood education plus licensing credential, CDA or degree in the field)
- Please note: This position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation
Requirements
- Must have full time availability and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CPR Certification is required but can be completed within 30 days of hire
- Prior experience in early childhood education (preferred)
- Have a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to pass a Background Check (fingerprinting)
