AutoCAD Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a AutoCAD Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying revisions that require contract change orders;
- Maintaining electronic copies of all submittals and correspondence according to company policy;
- Material take off of support and back up bar for fabrication;
- Identifying any construction problems and implement solutions;
- Providing drafting and designing support by preparing and maintaining engineering drawings;
- Completing red-lined as-built drawings;
- Coordinating CAD projects with other team members;
- Preparing working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product;
- Plot, organize and assemble project related documents;
- Communicate effectively with project team members to meet multi-user goals;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Create stakeout data for construction layout;
- Maintain exceptional internal and external client relations;
- Work closely with engineers, surveyors, technicians, project coordinators, project managers, and support staff to produce drawings and layout data;
- Integrate technical data from industry standards, vendor datasheets and engineer prints to generate 2-D CAD drawings and 3-D models.
Requirements:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;

- Must be willing to assist wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers;
- Produce detailed, high-quality drawings and reports in accordance with company standards and methodologies, technical guidelines, and client needs;
