Civil Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Civil Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be proficient in preparing plan drawings in Civil 3D;
- Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision;
- Work from architectural plans and base files or land planning documents to produce engineering construction documents in AutoCAD Civil 3D;
- Inform Project Manager(s) and Client Managers of progress on assigned projects and communicate design concerns with project managers.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment;
- 1+ years of professional experience in design related to land development;
- Technical degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field, Bachelors/Masters preferred;
- Strong proficiency in Civil3D, MicroStation, or related design software;
- PE certification or EIT certification preferred.
