Our company is looking for a Injection Molding Process Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to a highly productive, efficient and team-oriented work environment;
  • Able to fill in for Shift Supervisor and run a shift;
  • Maintaining a clean work environment at all times;
  • Following all aspects of processing safety protocol;
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, shop order operations and sequences;
  • Partner with Set-Up Technicians and Material Handlers in pre-staging materials;
  • Troubleshoot and dial in processes for transfer molding, liquid injection molding, compression molding, and injection molding;
  • Work with team leaders on line clearance and organization;
  • Make adjustments on machines and perform troubleshooting as required by quality criteria;
  • collaborate with maintenance by tagging equipment for repairs;
  • Understand and follow manufacturing instructions and QSR per training;
  • Monitor and maintain area for organization and safety;
  • Communicate effectively with production personnel, supervisors, engineers, and inspectors to ensure quality components;
  • Maintain good documentation practices;
  • Perform mold cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working as an Injection Molding Process Technician;
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds;
  • Ability and desire to train new team members;
  • Completed high school education or equivalent;
  • Analyze, reccomend and implement layout and workflow improvements;
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivitiy and product quality;
  • Strive to meet or exceed production and quality goals;
  • Have good hand-eye coordination;
  • Set up skills and basic understanding of resins;
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend English;
  • Able to assist with new new mold samples;
  • Familiarity with Arburg Injection Molding Machines and Robots;
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in extrusion, injection molding and/or rubber molding;
  • Familiarity with resins;
  • Ability to trouble shoot and improve Injection Molding Equipment.
