Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and validate equipment and processes in the production area;
  • Develops, documents and validates PCA assembly processes;
  • Facilitates the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to the manufacturing process;
  • Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to manufacturing engineering;
  • Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods;
  • Investigates inspection/test failures to root cause and implements corrective actions;
  • Knowledgeable in the PCA manufacturing process and able to train operators in accordance with released production assembly procedures;
  • Performs complex mechanical and repair tasks;
  • Performs complex operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment;
  • May perform other duties as assigned;
  • Determines methods or actions to remedy malfunctions;
  • May work with little or no formally released documentation;
  • Writes highly complex technical reports and test procedures;
  • May work with other cost centers to resolve vaguely defined issues;
  • May assist or instruct lower level technicians with complex tasks.

Requirements:

  • Good computer skills with a basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Limited;
  • Experienced in the set up and programing of automated equipment;
  • Proficient in the use of Labview software to create test programs;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Able to troubleshoot PCA test failures to root cause and recommend corrective actions;
  • Proficient in the use of measurement equipment.
