Responsibilities:
- Interact with suppliers to understand manufacturing restrictions and source components diligently to minimize COGS;
- Utilize 3D Printing and Shop Tools to produce functioning electro-mechanical prototypes;
- Test and Evaluate Designs internally and with external stakeholders;
- New Product Design and Development from conception to launch;
- Produce 3D Models/Assemblies and 2D Drawings in Solidworks;
- Maintain and Improve existing product lines;
- Develop new and innovative products;
- Work closely with Senior Leadership Team to develop product roadmap of light fixtures that fit the ARON Lighting brand;

Requirements:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required;
- Experience with prototyping tools like Framer or Principle;
- Backend experience (primarily for the UX Engineer role);
- Understanding of cloud technologies/infrastructure;
- 3+ Years of Work Experience in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering field;
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to learn new skills quickly;
- Attention to detail and a great sense of design taste for building intuitive interfaces and experiences that are awesome to use;
- Experience with design and collaboration tools like Figma, Sketch or XD and Abstract or Invision.
