Project Surveyor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Surveyor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare survey documents associated with ALTA, Boundary, & Topography Surveys;
- Analyzing of data from various sources;
- Review reference material & location specific statues & requirements & communicates knowledge with teammates & clients;
- Prepare forms and communication of project requirements and expectations;
- Review & evaluate project documentation;
- Monitor team work & progress;
- Utilize AudoCAD for survey drawings & descriptions (other software packages may be requested at times);
- Review data and documents developed by team for accuracy and precision;
- Provide services relating to the construction;
- Prepare & manage project schedules.
Requirements:
- Critical thinker;
- Strong work ethic with ability to work well in team settings;
- Land Surveying degree or equivalent;
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check;
- Highly organized;
- Must be able & willing to travel and work in other cities including urban and remote areas;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office;
- 3 years land surveying experience;
- Registered Professional Surveyor or ability to become registered;
- Frequent sitting in office environment and travel to job sites as needed;
- Will lift and move objects up to 20 lbs;
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles & practices;
- Multi-Tasker.
