Robotics Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Robotics Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- maintaining the health of our global fleet of robots;
- working with engineering to improve future robots;
- creating and maintaining internal and partner documentation;
- carrying out maintenance activities and upgrades on robots and infrastructure;
- troubleshooting technical issues reported by our partners and test teams;
- ready for being on-call during non-business hours.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in managing a large fleet of devices;
- Hobby projects in electronics or mechanics;
- Occasional lifting of items with weight up to 50 lbs;
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, CLI tools and scripting;
- Office work;
- Ability to troubleshoot various types of software, hardware and electrical systems;
- Follow all company safety policies, and actively participate in company safety programs;
- Demonstrate clear verbal and written communications skills, with attention to detail;
- Available to travel when required;
- Associates degree preferred;
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience – Pneumatic experience is a plus;
- PLC experience is a plus;
- Demonstrate professional internal and external customer skills.
