Senior Analog Design Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design validation simulation, pre and post layout;
- Layout floor-planning and supervision;
- Bench validation and characterization;
- Physical verification of layout against the schematic;
- Circuit test methodology specification;
- Design review presentations;
- Work with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into reality;
- Schematic capture and coordination with board layout resources to produce operational modules;
- Design and qualification of electrical circuitry for high frequency measurement solutions;
- Investigation and development of end-to-end processes;
- Collaboration with multi-discipline engineering team (HW, FW, ME, SW);
- Verification that final designs meet all environmental, regulatory and safety standards;
- Specific focus on development of high frequency analog sections of ARB and Digitizer hardware in the 2.0-4.0 GHz range;
- Will also drive design of power supply sections.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Analog circuits such as Transmitter, Receiver, PLL, BGR, VGA, CTLE, ADC, OPAMPs, clocking systems etc;
- Signal and power integrity analysis knowledge;
- Good understanding of High Speed SerDes, DDR interfaces;
- Experience in python and other scripting language is a plus;
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with 5+ years of analog / mixed signal circuit design experience.
