In addition, Senior Architect typically requires the use of more advanced techniques. Requires a bachelor’s degree of architecture. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a state architect’s license. Being a Senior Architect contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Our company is looking for a Senior Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares architectural staffing plans;
  • Develops project scopes, schedules and budgets;
  • Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors;
  • Oversees the preparation of plans using computer assisted design software and equipment;
  • Develops Technical and Price proposals in pursuit of new work for the Building Engineering Department;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Performs Quality Control Reviews;
  • Maintains working knowledge of current industry software including Revit and BIM;
  • Participates in project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor and;
  • Organize and oversee team to create design to client specifications with a focus on building detailing and constructability;
  • Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts;
  • Review all building documents during Quality Assurance process with a focus on accurate and realistic details;
  • Plans, organizes, and performs the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client;
