Our company is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.


  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations;

  • Design, schematic capture, and prototype electronic products;

  • Design and implement test fixtures to verify the circuit boards’ and/or systems’ functionality for production testing;
  • Ensure the electrical design is functional, robust, and cost effective;
  • Create electrical wiring schematics, flow diagrams, panel layouts, Bill of Materials, organize release packages, and update schematics;
  • Work with suppliers to find/develop the most functional and economical solutions to design issues.

  • The ability to work closely with other engineers, lab technicians, product management and customers in a team environment;
  • Physical circuit board layout experience (e.g. Altium, OrCAD, Mentor, Cadence Allegro) a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with personal computers; MS Word, Excel and Project required;
  • Digital and Analog (e.g., drivers, power supplies, batteries) hardware design and development experience at the product level;
  • 10+ years of experience;
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis;
  • Microcontroller based hardware design and development experience at the product level;
  • BSEE degree (MSEE or higher is a plus) with at least 5 years of hardware development experience.
