Signal Integrity Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with project managers, technical leads, and team members to ensure that signal integrity checks are performed in a timely fashion;
- Perform and review high frequency measurements to establish correlation with modeling and simulation;
- Review PCB board design decal fanout patterns, trace topology, etc. for high-speed layout accuracy.
Requirements:
- Understanding of IBIS and S-parameter models;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment;
- 3-5 years work experience in a related role;
- Experience programming in Python, MATLAB, and other similar languages;
- Familiar with and able to use equipment such as VNA, TDR, high-speed oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers;
- Experience with Intel, NXP (Freescale), and Xilinx memory controllers a plus;
- Leadership and management skills a plus.
