Our company is looking for a Water Resource Control Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting/coordinating with other public agencies (federal, state, and local), the regulated community, and the public;
  • Conducting investigations into spills and environmental complaints from the public or other public agencies;
  • Completing program management tasks;
  • Evaluating confined animal facilities and assessing facility operational impact to receiving water;
  • Inspecting sites (for planning and compliance, etc.);
  • Reviewing and commenting on technical reports and work plans;
  • Drafting permits and Executive Offer report articles;
  • Evaluating wastewater treatment facilities, permit applications, and compliance with water quality requirements;
  • Conducting engineering and hydrologic/hydrogeologic analyses regarding water quality impacts;
  • Conducting data management, data analyses, and data entry;
  • Preparing technical reports and enforcement documents/orders.

Requirements:

  • Experience with conducting technical presentations;
  • Knowledge of NPDES federal regulations and the California Water Code;
  • Conducting data management, data analyses, and data entry;
  • Conducting engineering and hydrologic/hydrogeologic analyses regarding water quality impacts;
  • Preparing technical reports and enforcement documents/orders;
  • Drafting permits and Executive Offer report articles;
