Water Restoration Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Water Restoration Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment;
- Perform Water/Mold/Fire building and contents restoration work residential and commercial properties;
- Operate routinely used tools and equipment;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance;
- Computer skills as you are using moisture mapper;
- Set up the van at the job site using the proper set up instructions;
- Mold experience;
- Set up and monitor drying equipment;
- Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up, monitoring remediation equipment;
- Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged;
- Performing demolitions and light construction tasks;
- Provide updates to supervisor on a daily basis;
- Client facing that is empathetic;
- Turn in payments and paperwork daily when returning to the branch.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Willingness to participate in all training as needed or required;
- Valid and clean driver’s license required;
- IICRC Certification (Cleaning and Restoration Certification) is a plus;
- Ability to perform water damage and fire cleaning tasks;
- Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs;
- Ability to exhibit a high attention to detail ensuring the highest quality of workmanship throughout restoration projects;
- Understand and execute work orders in a timely and professional manner;
- Follow established safety rules and regulations;
- Ability to provide crew leaders and company management with timely and accurate information related to the progress and status of projects;
- Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
