Our company is looking for a Water Restoration Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment;
  • Perform Water/Mold/Fire building and contents restoration work residential and commercial properties;
  • Operate routinely used tools and equipment;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance;
  • Computer skills as you are using moisture mapper;
  • Set up the van at the job site using the proper set up instructions;
  • Mold experience;
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment;
  • Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up, monitoring remediation equipment;
  • Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged;
  • Performing demolitions and light construction tasks;
  • Provide updates to supervisor on a daily basis;
  • Client facing that is empathetic;
  • Turn in payments and paperwork daily when returning to the branch.

Requirements:

  • Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Willingness to participate in all training as needed or required;
  • Valid and clean driver’s license required;
  • IICRC Certification (Cleaning and Restoration Certification) is a plus;
  • Ability to perform water damage and fire cleaning tasks;
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs;
  • Ability to exhibit a high attention to detail ensuring the highest quality of workmanship throughout restoration projects;
  • Understand and execute work orders in a timely and professional manner;
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations;
  • Ability to provide crew leaders and company management with timely and accurate information related to the progress and status of projects;
  • Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
