Responsibilities:
- Set an inspirational design vision with a global market appeal and clearly translate it to feasible design concepts;
- Review existing design processes and procedures and identifies areas for improvement;
- Lead and mentor a global design team to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Power Point, Excel, and Word;
- Must be a dynamic leader who is comfortable with productive change and skilled in leading a team in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment;
- Outstanding hand sketch capabilities;
- Must be an excellent communicator, verbal and written, capable and comfortable presenting to executive level;
- 12+ years plus experience in related field with product design experience in a consumer products environment highly preferred;
- Talent management and development experience to retain and grow a design team;
- Very strong form design and detailing skills;
- BA or MA in Industrial Design, or Related field.
