Graphic Designer/Production Artist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Graphic Designer/Production Artist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Layout daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly newsletters working closely with editor(s) using Adobe InDesign;
- Create compelling data visualizations, infographics and maps;
- Meet deadlines;
- Ensure associated electronic files are posted to all delivery channels: email, websites, third-party vendors;
- Ensure relevant tables, graphics for newsletters are published.
Requirements:
- Deadline driven;
- BA in a relevant field such as graphic design or journalism;
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and / or Tableau to represent data;
- Expert level InDesign (templates from scratch, style sheets and master pages) and Illustrator (graph tool);
- Strong portfolio;
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
