Our company is looking for a Interior Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Highly detailed and organized and want to take charge of a project with limited supervision;
  • General knowledge of applicable codes and regulations;
  • Provides support in establishing project furniture budgets;
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly;
  • Experience with multi-family residential projects is highly desirable;
  • Strong organizational, communication and relationship management skills;
  • Degree in Interior Design from an accredited school;
  • Demonstrate proficiency for design and technical detailing;
  • Develop and oversee design goals for multiple projects with team leadership;
  • Prepares and revises documentation in various architectural phases to support interior design intent;
  • Review and create schematic design, shop drawings, construction documents and material sample selections for conformance with the design intent;
  • Conducts interior space planning, block planning, and adjacencies in coordination with project program;
  • Participate in proposal development;
  • Maintains resource materials library;
  • Under direct supervision, may complete design assignments of limited complexity.

Requirements:

  • Must pass background check;
  • Reliable transportation for sites visits;
  • CAD training a plus;
  • CIDA accreditation and/or ASID membership preferred;
  • CAD, 3-D and graphic art programs preferred;
  • Leadership opportunities and a structured leadership path;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;
  • 5-7 years of interior design;
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas;
  • Great team player with excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks;
  • Must meet all health requirements;
  • Ability to learn furniture specific design software programs;
  • Demonstrated track record of successful past employment;
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply architectural and interior design principles at a high level;
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
