Our company is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Invision, Sketch, Axure, Framer and/or Autodesk products;
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications;
  • Deliver best-in-class user experiences (user interface designs, interaction models, prototypes, etc.), in a fast-paced, startup environment;
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism;
  • Translate business and product requirements into highly-usable responsive experiences;
  • Collaborate effectively across departments;
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently in an Agile environment;
  • Optimize the product to reduce the number of visual design iterations;
  • Design and carry out targeted usability tests to validate design choices;
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients;
  • Understand and clearly communicate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience;
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, XD, and InVision is a must;
  • Work with clients to interpret and visualize complex requirements for data heavy applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Excruciating attention to detail (Mild to debilitating OCD preferred);
  • Experience on projects ranging from marketing communications to highly functional applications;
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications;
  • 5+ years of experience designing complex software solutions for the web or desktop environments; mobile design experience is a plus;
  • Highly proficient in design tools such Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Willingness to engage with clients. Must be a creative thinker with great interpersonal skills;
  • Minimum 4-year degree (B.S. or B.A.), ideally in a related field (design, HCI, human factors, computer science, technical writing, psychology, etc.);
  • Leadership skills that enable you to drive projects independently and successfully, and gain stakeholder confidence;
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features;
  • A collaborative attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and experience mentoring or coaching others;
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;
  • Well-rounded designer who connects the dots between business needs, innovation and good design;
  • Engage in the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products;
  • Ability to incorporate existing design standards effectively, while also approaching novel problems creatively.
