Senior UX Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of designs while maintaining high quality;
- Perform competitive analysis and keep up with modern design trends;
- Understand organizational goals, product specifications, and user needs and psychology;
- Create concepts and high level wireframes;
- Work collaboratively with clients to translate business requirements into detailed application design solutions;
- Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets;
- Conduct user research and concept and usability testing;
- Create application concepts by defining information architecture, user interface flow, wireframes mockups and other design guidelines;
- Coordinate end-user research efforts, build prototypes, and conduct testing with customers to validate designs through customer feedback;
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering to design and deliver solutions that effectively achieve our business goals;
- Actively collaborates in cross-disciplinary idea generation and client co-creation sessions;
- Articulates rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs;
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement intuitive, user-friendly software;
- Ideates, sketches, and prototypes for desktop, tablet and mobile devices;
- Create and maintain an atomic design system and UI kit.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Invision and other prototyping and visualization software;
- Extensive knowledge of Sketch. Experience with Zeplin and Invision is a plus;
- 5+ years of success in product experience design;
- 8-10 years experience in UX design, or demonstrate that years of experience are relevant;
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping tools like Principle, Framer, or HTML a plus;
- 2+ years of experience in the design and engineering of enterprise level CRM;
- 5+ years working on AAA titles as a UX Designer;
- A portfolio of previous work demonstrating successful design solutions;
- You can manage conflict and work to find a way to maintain relationships;
- At least 2yrs experience working on mobile products;
- Experience designing native Android mobile applications;
- Experience with interaction design and information architecture;
- Experience in retail technology, payments, and omnichannel commerce tech;
- Able to take on leadership role and support and manage more junior UX designers;
- Experience with user-centric design processes.
