The Sr Graphic Designer generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs. Being a Sr Graphic Designer typically requires a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. In addition, Sr Graphic Designer typically reports to a manager. Being a Sr Graphic Designer contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Working as a Sr Graphic Designer typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.

Our company is looking for a Sr. Graphic Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications;
  • Keep abreast of current design and cultural trends;
  • Must be able to be client facing and present ideas and creative to clients and represent the Match brand standard;
  • Contribute new designs/concepts;
  • Be a strong contributor to the ideation process;
  • Deep understanding of space/ environmental design and product presentation;
  • Execute projects based on direction of lead creative team.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, continually presenting new ideas and best practices;
  • 3-5 years web or graphic design experience at an advertising agency preferred;
  • Collaborative with strong partnering skills and ability to prioritize multiple competing demands;
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications or any other Art related degree;
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating skill in visual design, typography, and composition (Photography experience a plus);
  • REQUIRED: Mac platform, Adobe Creative Suite 5 or above (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, Web/interactive experience;
  • Your design portfolio is required to apply for this position. Please ensure it includes print and digital pieces;
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a willingness to take on “non-role-specific” marketing duties as needed to support the team and business;
  • 4+ years of experience working within a B2B marketing team;
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred;
  • Clear communicator, both verbally and visually;
  • Strong understanding of web technologies as they relate to creative concept development and design;
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and standard presentation tools (PowerPoint);
  • Awareness of SaaS lead generation best practices and metrics;
