UI/UX Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and efficiently in high-paced environment;
- Take ideas from low fidelity UX design to high fidelity UI design;
- Developing and annotating user flows, journeys, and persona;
- Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks;
- Coordinating with teams on issues like page design, page routing and navigation;
- Work with team members in efforts to improve quality of the Sportbook application and other electronic publications as required;
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images;
- Apply industry standard best practices in user experience, information architecture, and customer experience design;
- Assisting in the creation of a content developing strategy;
- Design simple and elegant experiences for our end users;
- A willingness to define and navigate ambiguity;
- Deliver consumer-ready features for native mobile and web applications;
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and others in the company to improve our product offering;
- Deal with creation of wireframes, prototypes and hi-fidelity screens for iOS, Android and Desktop devices;
- Create wireframes, journey maps, content flows, user stories, personas, and prototypes.
Requirements:
- 5 + years of experience in UI/UX design;
- Detail oriented;
- Experience in UX software such as InVision, Sketch, & Adobe programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop;
- Fluent in user-centered design best practices;
- Logic and reasoning skills;
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design;
- HTML and CSS is a plus;
- Understanding of adaptive and responsive design;
- Portfolio of design projects;
- UI design implementation, while also serving as an advocate for design in strategic product decisions;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability give feedback and facilitate productive workshops;
- 5+ years in-depth knowledge and experience in UX, UI and visual design;
- Thrive in a collaborative cross-functional environment;
- Ability to be objective;
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
