Our company is looking for a User Researcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be comfortable in working on research across the product development cycle- from generative to evaluative, and everything in between;
  • Deliver action orientated and professional standard user research;
  • Deepen knowledge of our customers, their needs and uncover opportunities to better serve them;
  • Identify opportunities which the business should act upon to deliver delightful and inspiring experiences;
  • Help build and scale the user research function- for example by educating on best practices, and expanding our methods and operations;
  • Conduct research using a range of research methods- remote and in person IDIs, lab sessions, unmoderated research, surveys;
  • Proactively and routinely surface fact-based, forward-thinking customer insights across business partnerships;
  • Work closely with other researchers, data scientists and marketing research to develop a holistic understanding of the data;
  • Participate in hackathons, lead co-design sessions, and other events that bring the business closer together and to users;
  • Generate actionable user research insights to drive customer-centric decision making with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience of qualitative user research methods. Bonus points if you are also comfortable with quantitative methodologies;
  • Are experienced in helping stakeholders develop empathy and understanding with their users;
  • Comfort with running qualitative research studies yourself, from end to end;
  • Comfort with generating insight to fuel the product development process;
  • 2+ years of user research experience;
  • Engaging and clear communicator;
  • You know when to be scrappy and when to hold the line on methodological rigour;
  • A proven track record of socialising and embedding research findings to drive business outcomes;
  • A degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, behavioral science, or related field or equivalent experience;
  • Strong analytical, and synthesis skills with a proven ability to turn research results into product insights;
  • Thorough knowledge and experience across a range of UX research approaches and methodologies – especially RITE;
  • Communicate insight effectively to all levels of stakeholders – from product leads to feature teams;
  • Track record of collaborating across disciplines (design, engineering, data science) to drive change into products;
  • Proven ability to work within tight timelines utilizing excellent project management skills;
  • Experience with Mobile or Devices is a plus but not required.
