Our company is looking for a UX Design Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build successful experiences that are tailor-made for people in specific locales;

  • Lead a talented team and create an environment that fosters creativity and engagement;
  • Ensure a systemic design aesthetic that scales across regions and languages;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as the greater UX team throughout the design process;
  • Guide your team to achieve high-quality, holistic, cross-platform, on-brand experiences that aligns with company strategy;
  • Lead regular design reviews, critiques, and ideation sessions for team members;
  • Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, and apply systems thinking to simplify complex feature sets into simple, intuitive product experiences;
  • Work with design leadership to shape teams’ culture, processes, and tools to improve design productivity and efficiency;
  • Play a hybrid role of manager and individual contributor on a product team;
  • Advocate for human-centered design and ensure we’re solving the right problems;
  • Build healthy and collaborative relationships with design, product, and engineering leadership to shape strategy;
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new designers;
  • Manage a team of product designers through coaching, and radically candid feedback to grow their careers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science or related field;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Expert level skills in Adobe CS, Sketch and other associated design tools;
  • International eCommerce experience;
  • Proven ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across multi-functional teams;
  • Experience leading successful teams.
