Our company is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs the construction and reconfiguration of cubicles to meet the needs of Home Office personnel;
- Collaborate with vendors on maintenance/repairs at the Home Office and campus as needed;
- Manages issues with work stations such as locked cabinets, re-keying door, moving office furniture, etc. at the Home Office;
- Assists in developing and implement maintenance policies and procedures;
- Assists with safety and fire protection and prevention programs by inspecting work areas and equipment and conducting drills as required;
- Performs repairs as needed and/or appropriate on equipment, building/campus and grounds;
- Perform scheduled maintenance on building systems as directed;
- Moves and assembles furniture;

- Climbing ladders, lifting objects, operating equipment and tools may all be required;
- Be responsive and timely to requests made by the Facilities Maintenance Technician;
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Strong ability to troubleshoot equipment and building system problems;
- Physical demands are significant with this job;
- Complete work with a high level of quality and reliability;
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism during interactions with associates;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted regularly;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting;
- Experience with painting and drywall patching;
- Travel to various branches to assist with projects is required;
- Relevant experience with building construction and maintenance preferred;
- High school education or GED.
