Floor Tech Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Floor Tech to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cleaning common areas;
- Abides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan;
- Moving resident belongings;
- Managing and tracking of tasks performed, in addition reports need to be completed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
- All Applicants have reliable transportation;
- Must be able to operate high and low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM propane burnishing equipment;
- Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility;
- Candidates with experience as a Floor Technician;
- A valid drivers license is required for this position;
- All applicants must be at least 18 with valid identification;
- Hours Vary. This position requires open availability;
- This is a Second Shift position;
- Experience helpful, but not necessary. Willing to train the right candidate;
- mechanically inclined;
- Applicants must pass drug screen.
Requirements:
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information;
- Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation;
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department;
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;
- Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures;
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred;
- Prior health care experience preferred;
- Previous floor and carpet cleaning experience preferred;
- Physical ability to lift/carry/operate equipment and supplies is necessary;
- Must be able to work in a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation including weekends and holidays;
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English;
- Must be able to submit to background screening;
- Must be able to submit to drug test;
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent;
- Must have reliable transportation.
