Our company is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Relates to residents in a courteous, understanding, and cooperative manner;
  • Reports maintenance problems;
  • Cleaning and folding laundry;
  • Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy;
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address guests’ service needs;
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms and mops;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of resident-0care information;
  • Report all hazardous conditions or equipment;
  • Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc;
  • Cleaning & maintain bathrooms during events;
  • Assure that an adequate inventory of housekeeping supplies is maintained;
  • Housekeepers are responsible for changing blankets and mattress pads when stained;
  • Laundry, ironing and caring for clothing;
  • Cross training as laundry worker for special assignments.

Requirements:

  • Safety and customer service oriented;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
  • Physical ability to perform the cleaning duties;
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service;
  • 2+ years’ experience in cleaning rooms or homes;
  • Economical and correct use of supplies, chemicals and equipment;
  • Duties require verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language;
  • Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and complaint procedures;
  • Provide own clothing: jeans, collared shirt with closed-toed sturdy shoes;
  • Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks, in time allowed;
  • Prior housekeeping experience required;
  • Skill in oral communication (English required);
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English preferred;
  • Excellent attendance record required.
