Part-time Custodian Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Part-time Custodian to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming, upright or VacPac;
- Mopping, use of autoscrubbers/other floor machines;
- Trash removal;
- General clean up;
- Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager;
- Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately;
- Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products;
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.
Requirements:
- Excellent attendance, reliable transportation;
- Considerate, positive attitude;
- Complete a FBI fingerprint background check;
- At least 18 years of age with valid driver’s license;
- Ability and willingness to follow work directions and safety rules, including use of personal protective equipment;
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required;
- Ability to solve problems independently;
- Must be 18 years of age or older;
- Honesty and exceptional work ethic;
- Ability to work third shift is a must;
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language;
- Must be reliable and punctual;
- Following training, must be able to work without constant supervision;
- Custodial experience is preferred;
- Ability to read, write and understand written labels and directions.
