Our company is looking for a Accounting Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete audit and tax engagements for designated clients as directed by the Partner;
  • Show them how Bloomerang will help them solve those problems and expand their missions;
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development;
  • Day-to-day work will include journal entries, transactional accounting, account reconciliations and month-end close reporting;
  • Assist with maintaining consistency with HR and accounting systems;
  • Reconcile statements;
  • Disburse checks;
  • Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted;
  • Enter service orders;
  • Improve upon relationships, both internal and external, to increase efficiencies;
  • Support managers with the work order process;
  • Research and suggest improvements for maintenance and billing;
  • Manage processes to ensure all objectives are accurately and efficiently executed;
  • Collaborates regularly with third party property managers to ensure that monthly property financials are accurately prepared;
  • Process/audit time sheets for crew members.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office modules;
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company data and information;
  • Highly energetic and comfortable interacting with diverse types of people and supporting different departments;
  • Assist Accounting team with monthly reconciliations;
  • Perform miscellaneous Accounting functions as needed;
  • Review, coordinate and approve time sheets and payroll;
  • Solid knowledge of accounting fundamentals;
  • Driven personality and able to be successful in an individual and team setting;
  • Working knowledge of the full accounting cycle;
  • Proficient in Word and Excel;
  • High School diploma with previous experience working in an office environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to be customer service-oriented.
