Our company is looking for a Accounting Generalist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reconciling vendor statements and solving discrepancies when necessary;
  • Assist with daily cash over shot reconciliation, and reporting;
  • Processes requisitions and purchase orders;
  • Prepare and distribute the various reports when needed;
  • Other office duties as needed i.e. manage the front desk, answer phones, order office supplies;
  • Assist with special projects;
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts as assigned;
  • Assist with Generating Daily Labor and Revenue Reports as needed;
  • Professional and prompt correspondence with regards to administrative requests;
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all Omni Finance SOPs;
  • Maintain open communication with all departments;
  • Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned;
  • Reporting on any aspects of duties verbally or in written format;
  • Assist with accounts receivable functions and duties;
  • Assist with Audit requests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years in hotel accounting experience is necessary;
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheets, both building and maintaining;
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and Excel;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form;
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
