Our company is looking for a Assistant Program Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested;
  • Immediately apprise the Program Manager, Nurse, etc. of any medical concerns, APS allegations and injuries;
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to inform resource planning and infrastructure needs;
  • Develop SDLC documents and procedures with appropriate process flows, templates, standards and client requirements and needs;
  • Partner with business teams and form solution strategy to meet business needs;
  • Effectively communicate and interact with partners across the organization;
  • Supporting communications with partner organizations providing TA to GusNIP grantees and reporting;
  • Managing travel and logistics for Center and NGA staff and consultants attending and presenting at shows and conferences;
  • Managing TA webinars and supporting the development of online trainings;
  • Monitoring and ensuring functioning of NGA TA Center web connections;
  • Maintaining schedule of industry shows and conferences;
  • Maintaining library of resources on produce incentive and prescription programs and ensure that it is easily available;
  • Coordinating logistics for regional training gatherings for the retail industry conducted by NGA staff and experts.

Requirements:

  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested;
  • Proficiency in Excel to include performing data evaluation, formulas, and analytics;
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite applications of Outlook, Work, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint;
  • Adept communication skills to include technical writing and oral presentations;
  • Active Secret Security Clearance;
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred;
  • Extensive, detailed knowledge of Navy ship depot level maintenance processes;
  • Knowledge and experience with federal nutrition assistance programs preferred;
  • Conversant and comfortable with various kinds of online technologies;
  • Naval shipyard, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, and/or Fleet Commander or Type Commander (TYCOM) Maintenance Staff experience;
  • DSMC/DAU Program Manager Course Certificate or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification;
  • Extensive experience in Navy ship maintenance strategy and process development, implementation, and control;
  • Knowledge and experience with the food industry and business preferred;
  • Team player with proven ability to collaborate with internal and external partners on projects;
  • Ability to do limited domestic travel preferred.
