Our company is looking for a Audit Senior to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively utilize firm audit software and research tools to continually learn, share knowledge, and enhance the quality of service to clients;
  • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies;
  • Provide verbal and written performance feedback to team members;
  • Determine the effectiveness of internal controls and the potential impact of internal control deficiencies;
  • Supervise a team of audit professionals generally ranging in size from 1 to 5;
  • Other duties as required;
  • Demonstrate professionalism;
  • Teach/coach team members to provide on the job learning;
  • Assist in preparing and proofing financial statements, tax returns, and other documents;
  • Prepare financial statements, audit reports, budget and cash flow analyses, and special reports for clients;
  • Look for opportunities to provide additional services to clients;
  • Maintain organized and neat work areas so that workpapers and files can be easily reviewed by others;
  • Plan, supervise and perform financial statement audits for clients;
  • Recruitment of new and experienced staff;
  • Prepare audit workpapers, and review the workpapers of less experienced staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong technical skills pertaining to financial statement preparation and review;
  • Is committed to delivering the highest level of client service and willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlines;
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, including the ability to supervise more than one engagement at a time;
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and ethical conduct;
  • Bachelor’s in accounting required, CPA certification a plus;
  • Strong technical skills; demonstrate a clear understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS;
  • Completed education as a CPA or dedicated to take CPA exam;
  • Strong experience in large corporate assignments;
  • 2+ years of recent public accounting experience;
  • Must be well-versed in relevant computer accounting programs;
  • Must be a punctual individual who has excellent analytical skills;
  • Prior tax preparation experience a plus but not required;
  • The Senior Accountant will in-charge client engagements.
