Our company is looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with completion of death certificates as needed;
  • Review and verify accuracy of high-volume billing and supporting documentation as required;
  • Create and print final client billing;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Review and edit proformas in response to company requests;
  • Data entry;
  • Communicate with billing partners to discuss billing status;
  • Prebill editing and finalization of invoices including but not limited to WIP reports;
  • Maintain working relationships with each billing partner and/or secretary;
  • Review benefit & payment plans;
  • Answer phones in a courteous manner;
  • Work together with finance and sales departments to maintain accounts receivable;
  • Create and submit statements;
  • Perform additional assignments as directed;
  • Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and secretary requests.

Requirements:

  • Detail oriented;
  • Associate’s Degree or Equivalent;
  • Detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Minimum 1 year of accounts receivable/revenue recognition experience;
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Elite experience required;
  • Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task a must;
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a changing work environment;
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • 3+ years’ experience of working on a Billing Coordinator or other similar position;
  • Good practical experience with MS office and data entry operations;
  • Good mathematical and financial data management skills;
  • 2+ years previous medical or office experience.
