Business Analyst / Product Owner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Definition of User Story backlog, User Acceptance criteria, Jira tickets and working with QA processes;
- Work with the Process Transformation Lead to formulate process models and workflow improvements;
- Leverage Jira to structure the backlog and assist with story pointing in scrum activities;
- The Product Owner will serve as the domain subject matter expert for the product being developed for key Digital Transformation initiatives;
- Develop detailed User Stories along with clear and concise Acceptance Criteria to enable developers to perform Agile development activities;
- Liaise with the product team to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables in alignment with agreed upon business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, or IT preferred;
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner;
- Experience with Project Management a plus;
- Understanding of Web-based enterprise software, .Net Framework, C#, javascript, AJAX, and databases;
- Experience with projects using technologies such as .Net Core, Azure, Microservices and so on;
- Solid analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
- CSPO, PMP or similar certifications a plus;
- Experience with Retail PoS (Point of Service) is MUST.
