Our company is looking for a Business Intelligence Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Create / maintain data model change control / version control procedures, emergency change procedures, and monitor new software releases impacts;
- Participate in finalizing Source to Target Data Map;
- Able to utilize data profiling results to identify data issues and challenges. Able to define, test and communicate solution;
- Assist in defining processes and culture for agile implementation approaches;
- Map and document data subject areas related to analytical needs;
- Able to work jointly with Data Stewards to develop Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models;
- Document data quality issues through observations;
- Create logical model(s);
- Collaborate with Data Stewards as well as developers on data modeling practices;
- perform data quality analysis.
Requirements:
- Hands-on expertise with various data architecture and modeling tools, such as ERwin, Visio, Informatica, Toad Analysts etc;
- Partnering with various business areas, project managers, program managers and work with the offshore teams;
- Experience in dimensional and relational modeling in Star Schema and Snowflake Schemas;
- Strong experience in Unix/Lunix shell scripting;
- Experience working in Biopharmaceutical industry, particularly for Regulatory Affairs and R&D IT functions;
- Candidates should have 6+ years of experience as Business Intelligence lifecycle implementation;
- Has worked with Informatica Suite, (e.g.: PowerCentert 9.1.0);
- Capable of working in groups as well as independently with excellent communication skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Hands on multiple relational databases including Oracle (12C), MS SQL Server and programming using PL/SQL;
- Good in troubleshooting with quick turnaround in fixing the issues;
- Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Mart design.
