Business Management Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Management Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support audits, reviews, fact-finding, and negotiation support requested by programs, customers, and company management;
- Prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations;
- Set up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on Contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system;
- Perform data analysis of cost/utilization of range training assets;
- Support the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting, Annual Operating Plan and Resource Plan;
- Maintain and provide status and tracking information on customer requests;
- Work cooperatively with the technical staff to address customer requests;
- Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks;
- Review and approve changes to performance measurement baseline as required;
- Conduct process improvement projects: development of facilities utilization database, workforce planning database, personnel database;
- Develop and maintain monthly performance Dashboard for Training Range Engineering Division: financial and operational performance metrics;
- Perform program financial analyses and provide both external and internal reporting (s) for Sector programs;
- Formulate and incorporate successes and lessons into best practices;
- Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives;
- Independently manage projects/programs as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in an IT supervisory capacity;
- Proven project management skills and ability to train team members on required tools and processes;
- 5+ years progressive experience in a business analyst role;
- Ability to demonstrate a consistent attitude of excellence and uncompromising integrity in a highly collaborative teamwork environment;
- Basic understanding of Azure DevOps and Web Development technologies;
- Knowledge of PPM tools;
- Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
- Ability to create a collaborative and high functioning Analyst team;
- Serve as department representative on Command Action Committee, Facilities Resource Board, Workforce Development Team, Safety Resource Board;
