Our company is looking for a Business Process Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • working as a functional subject matter expert across the various technologies supporting the Innovation Community Center (ICC);
  • capturing cross-organizational business requirements;
  • developing process flow & system design deliverables;
  • coordinating client facing business process redesign (BPR) sessions;
  • Develops test cases to verify accuracy and quality;
  • Shares accountability for realization of results with process owners and present recommendations to stakeholders and process owners;
  • Interviews stakeholders and process owners to define processes;
  • Ensures process mapping is complete;
  • Utilizes business analysis, data mapping and data validation to develop coding specifications;
  • Reviews data post- implementation to measure success; participates in defining standards of improvement success;
  • Support project execution through maintaining business rule documentation, tracking;
  • Prepare and create business requirements for systems enhancements;
  • Designs complex processes.

Requirements:

  • Must have energy and utility experience. Specifically working with smart grid and AMI projects;
  • Ability to effectively create and present quality data and findings;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to share findings with business partners with varying backgrounds/levels of expertise;
  • Expertise in using MS Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
  • 5+ years of experience with understanding scope definition and requirements gathering;
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required;
  • Ability to analyze data and related system specifications and create test data and cases to verify accuracy of system output.
