Claims Processor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Claims Processor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely internal progress reports to the CCG management team;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Compose final reports based on field technicians’ damage assessments and industry best practices;
- Manage claim turn-around-times to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction;
- Maintain insurance adjuster relationships;
- Interface with field technicians to review and interpret damage assessments;
- Respond to end-user customer service escalations, as necessary;
- Utilize automated estimating systems to prepare repair vs replacement estimates for property damage.
Requirements:
- Full cycle billing knowledge;
- Medicare experience;
- Medical claims processing experience;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by CCG for this position now or in the future;
- Excellent customer service and organization skills;
- Ability to execute against a pre-defined set of processes;
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, focused and ambitious;
- Commitment to constant self-improvement and professional development;
- Possess a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills are required;
- Professional demeanor, team player and a positive attitude;
- Must be able to pass a federal and criminal background check;
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related field preferred.
