Our company is looking for a Closing Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain necessary programs with closing information;
  • Represent Drees Homes during the closing process;
  • After closing, update systems and process all necessary paperwork to complete and close out the file;
  • Timely and accurate processing of all necessary paperwork and information related to the closing process;
  • Track and assure Certificates of Occupancy, Final Inspections and keys are included in the closing folder;
  • Prepare and distribute reports;
  • Set up and maintain customer files;
  • Coordinate signing, notarizing and pickup of closing documents;
  • Primary Role – Closing Coordinator;
  • Assist with Land Contracts and Lot Closings;
  • Be responsible for property taxes – calculations, refund checks to buyers, etc;
  • Additional administrative tasks to support the Division;
  • Audit and prepare final bills and other closing documents;
  • Act as liaison and coordinator between the Company, lending institution, title company, Realtor and customer;
  • Reviewing and auditing the transaction files for documents needed for prior to closing conditions.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of residential home sales contract and closing documents and disclosures;
  • Possess a team player mentality;
  • Mortgage, title or closing coordinator experience is preferred;
  • Detail-minded with excellent organizational and follow up skills;
  • Minimum of 2 years residential construction closing experience;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • High school education required; College degree helpful;
  • Display a friendly, personable and approachable manner with both internal and external customers;
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure while meeting strict deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
