Commercial Real Estate Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree mandatory; MS (Finance or related), MBA, and/or advanced industry certification (e.g. CFA/FRM designations) strongly preferred;
- Prepare periodic updates of leasing and market activity for the Western Region office portfolio;
- Prepare detailed cash flow projections and analysis of existing properties, including NER analysis for proposed leasing transactions;
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly leasing and valuation reports for Board and Investor presentations;
- Contribute to a flexible, dynamic, and team-oriented working culture that fosters personal development and a positive attitude;
- Track property operating results for forecast cash flow;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Participate in the preparation of special reports and other ad hoc reporting projects;
- Strong familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Tableau, etc.; coding experience preferred but not required;
- Advanced use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
- Conduct market research and prepare presentations for management review.
Requirements:
- Experience underwriting CMBS or CRE balance sheet loans is preferred;
- Knowledge of, or experience working with Argus is a plus;
- Excellent Excel and cash flow modeling skills;
- Strong business writing skills;
- Advanced use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
- Strong familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Tableau, etc.; coding experience preferred but not required;
