Construction Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Construction Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Able to frequently lift (75 lbs.), bend and stand for long periods of time;
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures;
- Understand construction concepts, preferred someone with at least 1 year in the building industry;
- Focus on safety, everything you do must be safety minded;
- Perform temporary repairs to structures (may require ladder and/or roof work);
- Loading, unloading, setting-up equipment and operating power tools;
- Reliable transportation allowing you to get to work on time;
- Demolition and job site monitoring.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of construction terminology;
- Ability to problem solve and a desire to learn and grow your career;
- Detail oriented, ability to take direction and work under minimal supervision.
