Our company is looking for a Construction Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review schedules,
  • Monitoring all project activity including schedules, spending and related items to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned projects;
  • Site Design Review;
  • Project Management for multiple locations;
  • Select appropriate construction methods and strategies;
  • Provide leadership and clear direction to the Strata Solar construction team;
  • Review change requests and change assessments in accordance with management of change plan;
  • Member of Client’s Project Delivery Team charged with delivering projects to time, cost and quality standards;
  • Ensure all necessary construction permits and licenses are secured;
  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems;
  • Monitor and assess construction performance and record construction activities to ensure compliance with construction documentation requirements;
  • Assist in conducting weekly meeting with contractors and field staff to validate schedule progress;
  • Work closely with the Branch Safety Officer to facilitate the highest level of safety in and around the work site;
  • Budgeting Review potential sites with Real Estate;
  • Work with the Project Manager (PM), CM and Client to manage change within the work scope.

Requirements:

  • Responsible;
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project’s goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected;
  • Manage project cost control and forecasting systems. Provide monthly cost vs. budget report to project stakeholders;
  • Provide valuable cost and constructability input during the design phase;
  • Project Management for multiple locations;
  • Working with local and state planning committees;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Site Design Review;
  • Select appropriate construction methods and strategies;
  • Certification in 30-hour OSHA construction course;
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications;
  • Strong work ethic, with a sense of urgency;
  • Success at managing and delivering construction projects on schedule and under budget;
  • 5 years of progressive construction project management experience in the retail industry;
  • Change order logs.
