Contract Recruiter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Contract Recruiter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- This individual acts as a liaison between client facilities and newly hired candidates;
- Sourcing employees for specific assignments using various job posting/search mediums;
- Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, etc;
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process;
- Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated;
- This is a contract position with an estimated duration of 12 months;
- Work closely with hiring managers and candidates to manage the complete interview process;
- Utilizes social media to reach passive candidates using – forums, blogs, discussion sites – to help reach targeted passive prospects;
- Present candidate qualifications to hiring managers effectively;
- Identify and fully screen potential candidates against required qualifications, culture, compensation, etc;
- Work with various hiring teams and key stakeholders to determine customized recruiting strategy for each position;
- Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals;
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc;
- Source candidates through multiple channels including industry networks and extensive use of our internet related recruiting systems;
- Becomes actively involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Strong attention to detail, including accurate documentation;
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time;
- Occasionally move throughout office environment;
- Strong competitive, goal-oriented nature;
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer;
- Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc);
- Knowledge of company systems (HR systems such as Workday and SilkRoad-Open Hire are a plus);
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field;
- 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience and understanding of HR policies and procedures; experience supporting manufacturing is preferred;
- Experience working with a formal recruiting process;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.);
- 2-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Staffing industry experience is also valued.
