Our company is looking for a Contract Recruiter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • This individual acts as a liaison between client facilities and newly hired candidates;
  • Sourcing employees for specific assignments using various job posting/search mediums;
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, etc;
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process;
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated;
  • This is a contract position with an estimated duration of 12 months;
  • Work closely with hiring managers and candidates to manage the complete interview process;
  • Utilizes social media to reach passive candidates using – forums, blogs, discussion sites – to help reach targeted passive prospects;
  • Present candidate qualifications to hiring managers effectively;
  • Identify and fully screen potential candidates against required qualifications, culture, compensation, etc;
  • Work with various hiring teams and key stakeholders to determine customized recruiting strategy for each position;
  • Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals;
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc;
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including industry networks and extensive use of our internet related recruiting systems;
  • Becomes actively involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Strong attention to detail, including accurate documentation;
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time;
  • Occasionally move throughout office environment;
  • Strong competitive, goal-oriented nature;
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer;
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc);
  • Knowledge of company systems (HR systems such as Workday and SilkRoad-Open Hire are a plus);
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field;
  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience and understanding of HR policies and procedures; experience supporting manufacturing is preferred;
  • Experience working with a formal recruiting process;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.);
  • 2-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Staffing industry experience is also valued.
