Our company is looking for a Corporate Tax Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes care of the client;
  • Meet the engagement (job) financial goals / metrics / QC (technical) standards;
  • Support Growth Strategies ( Tax/Industry);
  • Develops successors (managers);
  • Leading Managing and Holding People Accountable (LMA);
  • Provide thought leadership with respect to training and development of corporate tax team members;
  • Provide thought leadership with respect to use of tools and technologies, both current and emerging;
  • Highly proficient tax technical skills with respect to tax compliance, research and planning matters. Highly flexible and adaptable to change;
  • Provide review and approval of consolidated and separate entity calculations of estimated income tax payments;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines;
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set;
  • Must have thorough knowledge of US, state tax and accounting laws;
  • Oversee any audits or examinations by a tax authority of the above-noted income tax returns.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills;
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in public accounting;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects, especially long-term;
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow and reassign as necessary;
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines;
  • Licensed CPA highly or J.D., LL.M, or EA required;
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating subordinates;
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent; Master’s degree strongly preferred;
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills;
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in tax (five of which should be in a management position);
  • Full competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks;
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
