Corporate Technical Recruiter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Corporate Technical Recruiter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates;
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions;
- Schedules interviews; collaborates on the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials;
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies;
- Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work;
- Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github;
- Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products;
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities;
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates;
- Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes;
- Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals;
- Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements;
- Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs;
- Write and post technical job description s;
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases;
- Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype and structured);
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search);
- BSc in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree;
- Ability to speak and understand technical jargon in order to determine candidate abilities and experience;
- Demonstrated ability to build an active pipeline of quality technical talent from your own sourcing efforts;
- Ability to quickly grasp Pariveda’s purpose and mission and convey that knowledge to potential candidates;
- Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship;
- Innate curiosity to learn, solve problems, think creatively, and adapt to new challenges;
- 2 – 4 years of experience recruiting technical talent;
- Experience in agency recruiting or recruiting in the local market for a professional services firm is required;
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience;
- An eye for detail and strong intuition for culture fit while screening candidates.
