Cost Accountant II determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Being a Cost Accountant II examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly. May require a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, Cost Accountant II typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Cost Accountant II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.

Our company is looking for a Cost Accountant II to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely costing information to the business to support business decisions;
  • Create and maintain SKU level standard costs in accordance with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles;
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned;
  • Reconcile ending inventory balances on monthly basis;
  • Provide support as required for cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs;
  • Involve in new PLM system (PDH) implementation and provide supports in all costing related functions;
  • Manage the excess and obsolete inventory reserves based on guidance from corporate policy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience are required;
  • Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and ability to perform as a team player;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Self-Initiative and organization skills are extremely valuable to ensure a smooth office operation.
