Our company is looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review existing customer accounts to manage current financial standing;
  • Perform daily collections on past due accounts within an assigned portfolio;
  • Resolve account differences by working with partners to insure timely issuance of credit memos;
  • Possesses excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire others. Leads by example;
  • Thoroughly review and consider all relevant information while analyzing contracts to arrive at a decision;
  • Maintain accurate credit and collection files and collection notes;
  • Perform other duties as requested to accomplish department goals;
  • Exercises independent judgment and applies prudent risk mitigation principles. Understands how and when to elevate issues when required;
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is complete for all transactions;
  • Meeting all KPIS expectations;
  • Responding to credit inquiries from external and internal clients;
  • Oversight and base knowledge of KYC and master data management process;
  • Analyze bank data, public data and conduct KYC on all applicants;
  • Reconcile customer statements/billings;
  • Execute the established policies and procedures for review and follow-up of delinquent customer accounts receivable balances.

  • Interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union staff at all levels of the organization as well as business members;
  • PC and internet proficiency strongly preferred;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Highly motivated and focused;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred;
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time;
  • Proven ability to pay attention to detail.
