Data Analytics Intern Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in, and sometimes lead advanced analytics, continuous monitoring, and robotics process automation projects;
- Performing data mining and analysis to facilitate the identification and communication of outliers and trends in the business;
- Actively seek to build and apply business knowledge to complement technical expertise in design and performance of analytical procedures.
Requirements:

- Are you able to lead and influence others (suppliers, commercial partners etc)?
- Strong knowledge and experience applying machine learning techniques like random forests and LASSO;
- Coding skills in R and/or Python, including data preparation, regression, and plotting;
- Ability to present data analysis results to scientists and engineers;
- Education in Design of Experiments (DOE);
- Ability to communicate statistical concepts to a layperson;
- Currently pursing a MS or PhD in Statistics or other related fields such as Mathematics, Economics, Engineering;
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred;
- Formal education in Statistics, including regression and hypothesis testing.
